How we met:
We met at Eckerd Drugs in Apollo Beach over three years ago. John transfered there from an Eckerd Drugs in Tampa as an assistant manager and I was a cashier at the time. After a couple of weeks of working there together, we both transfered to an Eckerd Drugs in Riverview.
We got to know each other really well and became friends. I was dating guys that were not treating me very well and sometimes would make me upset at work. John said one day that "you should let me take you out sometime and I'll show you how a girl should be treated."  So I took him up on the offer and we went out to lunch at Applebees and saw a movie as well. We both had a great time and have been dating ever since! We have grown closer each and everyday and have learned so much about each other.
We are each other's best friend.
How we got engaged:

     We got engaged on July 7, 2004. We went to the Florida Aquarium with my sister, her boyfriend and my dad. We had a great time there and went to my parent's house to have dinner. We were celebrating my birthday and my dad's birthday that night.

So after dinner my dad opened his present's first and then I opened mine.After the last one John said that he had one last gift for me. He pulled out a chair away from the table for me to sit in. He then got down on one knee and proposed to me in front of my whole family! Nobody knew that he was going to propose. Everybody in my family was crying.
And of course I said "yes"!!!
